The conflict sttared with micky being heavily vested in the false idea of marijuana addiction. I dont have to convince you of it.It exists. I see the flesh and blood results of it everyday. Many reputable reliable government studies in cooperation with many universities say it is. Addiction is continuous use to avoid intolerable withdrawal symptoms. I submitted a scientific description of addiction to you that you completely ignored.I have passed the Hawaii state exam on addiction, I am an addict of 30 + years, have worked with addicts and alcoholics for at least 15 at numerous professional facilities across the country. The withdrawals from pot are not life theatening as with opiates or aclcohol, the key ingredients dont assimilate to the cellular structure creating physical dependence but they do have a profound psychological effect that has people making some poor decicisions when they need more.Crack and meth are not likely to give withdrawal symptoms that are nearly as bad as that of alcohol or opiates yet they are just as addictive as anyone knows. So your argument that addiction is based only on the attempt to avoid withdrawal symptoms is sophomoric at bestYou know nothing.

First to Morris County Native: Rick Merkt was far behind the two front-runners with only sgilne digits (I think 9 votes if memory serves me correctly). I am not sure it is accurate to say that colorful gets the attention as much as votes and momentum . Christie has the most of both, followed by Lonegan, so they will get the most coverage. As to the article, I have only a simple point to make. I think it is important to define what going negative means. My definition of going negative is when one campaign decides to distort the truth and use questionable facts in portraying their opponent. It is NOT negative when your opponent has a track record that is questionable and/or underperforming, and a campaign outlines those facts in a factual way, or a campaign uses their opponent's track record or political positions to compare and contrast versus their own. So, when we say going negative, let us all be clear what that means. It is often in the eye of the beholder, as campaigns, and their supporters, don't appreciate certain facts being stressed by their opponents. Campaigns spend many, many hours trying to determine a campaign direction that would avoid talking about their own negatives. So, just because you don't like what they are saying about your guy doesn't make it negative, sometimes it is just the facts that you don't want to hear about your candidate (or his/her past performance).

Yuck ! What you describe from Hershey Lodge is NOT a grllied cheese. It's an Apple Brie Sourdough sandwich.A grllied Cheese sandwich is what it is. People should feel free to eat any grllied sandwich they want but don't call it a Grilled Cheese in the historical sense.Would you take some chopped steak then add Cheddar or Brie, asparagus, red peppers and Oregano then call it a Philly Cheesesteak ? No you'd call it a Veggie Steak sandwich or something else. But you can't take a classic sandwich, switch all the ingredients and then sill call it that classic name !

they will take part in a debate on WBGO Jazz 88 on Thursday, October 22 at 8pm. But Republican guotrnaebrial nominee Christopher Christie is waiting to see how Corzine responds to debate invitations from League of Women Voters debate for October 16, which would have been broadcast by the New York and Philadelphia ABC affiliate, and from NJ 101.5. Jon Corzine is afraid to debate on a major network affiliate with a large audience but agrees to a debate on a station whose board is stacked with Democrat party loyalists, said Christie strategist Michael DuHaime. He should be willing to go on network if for no other reason than to apologize to as many New Jerseyans as possible for raising income, business and property taxes, taking way property tax rebates and property tax deductions and doubling the unemployment rate. On Election Day, he won't be able to hide behind his money anymore. After Corzine initially refused to participate in New Jersey Network's October 1 debate that was sanctioned by the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission (ELEC), NJN tried to move it back to October 22, since Corzine indicated he would take part then. That led to ELEC's four commissioners deadlocked along partisan lines, and to Corzine acquiescing to the original date. Christie Campaign Manager Bill Stepien then issued a statement inviting Corzine to debate on the later date, since it appears his schedule is also open for a debate on Oct. 22. While we have agreed to the debate, Christie has not, even after he challenged the governor to debate on that very same date-, said Corzine spokeswoman Elizabeth Smith.WBGO News Director Doug Doyle said that the October 22 date is not final, and that the station is attempting to find a way to accommodate all three candidates. There's nothing official on that on any side, because it's still in the preliminary talks, he said. The Newark-based station reaches the northern half of New Jersey, all five boroughs of New York City and parts of New York State. Doyle said that he will look into partnering up with other public radio stations if he can confirm a date with all three candidates.
